DP Gachagua’s Big Secret Revealed: How He Amassed a Fortune of Over 200 Million

Rigathi Gachagua, the deputy president, has stated that he is not concerned about the Ksh. 200 million in court-frozen monies that were forfeited to the government.
The DP claims that a group of his attorneys are already pursuing the subject at the Appellate Court in a conversation with Citizen TV on Sunday.

The DP claimed that since he is already paid as the Deputy President, the money does not worry him during a live interview at his Mathira residence.

Gachagua claimed that certain former government officials had been using opponents’ personal money as leverage to subdue them.

He said, “Mali si kitu, watu ndio wanaishi.

In late July, the High Court ruled Gachagua could not demonstrate how he received the Ksh. 200 million in court-frozen monies, which he lost to the State.

The court stated, “In fact, he admitted he received from government agencies…there was nothing to prove that the contract had been chosen through a tender by that ministry…,”

According to the court’s ruling, there was no proof that the MP signed the contract in order to get the money.

The claim that the Ksh. 200 million was in a fixed account was also dismissed by the court.
